Video Transcript - Request a change to Company Name, ABN or Company Number

Screen 1: Title screen
Welcome to the video help series for the Energy Rating Product Registration System.

In this video, we are going to show you how you can request a change to your company name, ABN or company number through the Energy Rating Team.

Screen 2:  Dashboard
We begin on our Dashboard page.

We select “Applicant Management” from the toolbar at the top of the page.

Screen 3: Applicant Management
On the Applicant Management page, we can see a new toolbar with six tabs.

From this toolbar, we select “Applicant Details”.

Screen 4: Applicant Details
On this page, we can see all the details that have been provided for our Applicant.

Both the Company Name and Company ABN fields are greyed out.

This means we cannot change them, so we need to make a request through the Energy Rating Team if we want to change them.

To make a change request, we select the “Request change” button in the Actions box on the right side of the screen.

You can also select the “Request a change to company details” link immediately below the Company Name and Company ABN fields.

Screen 5: Request Change
A pop-up page appears, containing fields we need to fill out with the details of the changes we’d like to make.

In the New Company Name field, we enter our new company name, if we’re changing our company name.

In the New ABN or Company Number field, we enter our new ABN or Company Number.

This is only required if our Applicant is based in Australia, and we’re changing our ABN or Company Number.

If our Applicant is not based in Australia, we leave this field blank.

In the Reason for Change field, we enter the reason why we’re making these changes.

Once we’ve entered our information, we select the “Submit Change Request” button at the bottom of the pop-up page to submit our request.

Screen 6: Change Request Successful
The pop-up refreshes and we see a message confirming that we have successfully submitted our change request.

Our Applicant will be unavailable until the Energy Rating Team processes our change request.

We select the “Close Dialog Box” button to close the pop-up.

Screen 7: Confirmation email
Once the Energy Rating Team approves our changes, we will receive a confirmation email, as shown on the screen now.

Our Applicant will re-appear in the system and we can resume submitting applications for registration.

And that’s how you request a change to your company name, ABN or company number in the registration system.

For further assistance with using the registration system, select the “Help” tab at the top of any page to go to our handy Help section, where you can find more videos and step-by-step guides to help you navigate any aspect of the system.
